FUNCTION

Magnesium anode protectors (MAP.SK) are designed for using them into ground protection units into the local CPS of steel communications as individual means of CP and (or) a redundant system.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:
  • Good electrochemical characteristics.
  • High electrochemical capacity.
  • An activator provides the equipment with better connecting with the ground, better current distribution conditions and the passivation of the anode bed surface.

MAGNESIUM PROTECTORS MP.SK ARE PRODUCED IN THE FOLLOWING MODIFICATIONS:

  • SК-20 are designed for the ground protection of steel reservoirs from drainage water corrosion.
  • SК-5, MAP.SК-10, MAP.SК-20 are designed for the ground protection of oil and gas products pipelines from the underground corrosion.
  • SК-5P, MAP M.SК-10P, MAP.SК-20P with an activator are designed for the ground protection of oil and gas products pipelines from the underground corrosion.
  • SК-12-80 and MAP.SК-15-80 are designed for the ground protection of steel and petroleum field communications from from the underground corrosion.

General characteristics and the process of utilization of Magnesium Protectors for underground communications meet the requirements of GOST R 51164 and GOST 9.602,   BR 29.240.00-TRR-163-16 “Service Electric Power Transmission Lines and Cathode Protection Units. Maintenance Rules and Regulations” as well as BR 91.020.00-TRR-170-17 “The Main Pipelines Transportation of Oil an Oil Products.Cathode Protection System of the Objects of the Main Pipeline. Design Rules and Regulations”
