An indicator plate kit (IPK.SK) and corrosion speed sensors (CSS.SK) are designed to determine the rate of corrosion and the effectiveness of electrochemical protection of underground steel structures.
The essence of the method is to assess the general corrosion and its average rate using a kit of indicators made in the form of plates (IPK.SK) or round conductors CSS.SK during electrochemical protection of the pipeline at the place of installation of the product in time from the moment of its installation to the loss of longitudinal electrical conductivity as a result of corrosion.
The principle of operation of IPK.SK and CSS.SK is based on corrosion destruction of indication elements.
